The Payroll Department is a division of the Department of Budget and Purchasing.
The Payroll Department processes bi-weekly payroll for all County Government
Departments, Highway and Landfill. This department files quarterly and yearly
taxes with the Internal Revenue Service, prepares and issues W-2's annually,
issues longevity pay annually, issues payment for election workers, and is
responsible for reconciling payroll accounts and payroll tax reporting.
Williamson County has approximately 832 full time employees, 1079 part-time
employees, and 603 seasonal employees.
