Please be aware that YOU ARE required to be at the polling precinct no later than 6:00 A.M. and remain there until the officer of election dismisses you after the polls close at 7:00 P.M. You may leave when the polling place duties are complete, usually around 8:00 P.M. Please note that a mandatory training class is required before any election.
Are you registered to vote in Williamson County? (you must be a registered voter in Williamson County in order to work elections unless you are a 17 year old student)
Are you presently employed by a Federal, State , County of Municipal government agency? (Does not include teaching or support staff for the Williamson County or FSSD School system)

Do you have a retirement plan through TCRS( TN Consolidated Retirement)
Political Party Affiliation:
(you must specify a political party affiliation for application to be processed)
Are you aware that you must commit to working from 6:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. (14 hours) on election day?
Are you a college student wishing to waive compensation?
Do you have computer experience?
If you answered yes to having computer experience please list the type of software
Do you have a reliable means of transportation to and from the polls?
Do you have any health related problems that would prevent you from sitting or standing for long periods of time?
Are you willing to work at any polling location if needed?

Polling Place Positions
REGISTRATION CLERK: This person greets the voters and checks to make sure they are registered, prints a ballot application and has voter sign a signature list, then sends them to the voting machine. ELECTION DAY PAY $125
VOTING MACHINE OPERATOR: This person will assist the voter at the voting machine. ELECTION DAY PAY $125
OFFICER OF ELECTION: This person is responsible for overseeing all procedures and workers at the precinct polling place on Election Day. ELECTION DAY PAY $160 (TRANSPORTING ELECTION DAY SUPPLIES: $20)
PROVISIONAL JUDGE: This person is responsible for looking up voters who are not found on our voting rolls and allowing voter to vote a provisional ballot. ELECTION DAY PAY: $140
ALL POLL OFFICIALS WILL BE PAID $25 FOR EACH TRAINING CLASS
