Court Services
Overview
The Court Services Division is commanded by a lieutenant.
The division consists of Court Security, Transportation, Civil Warrants, Criminal Warrants, and clerical staff.
Court Security
The Court Security Unit is responsible for all security at the county courthouse.
Transportation
The Transportation Unit is responsible for transporting prisoners to various locations such as: court appearances, state prisons, medical facilities, etc. This unit also transports from other jurisdictions, prisoners that have outstanding charges in Williamson County.
Civil Warrants
The Civil Warrants Unit's primary function is the execution of all civil process such as, but not limited to: garnishments, subpoenas, and levies.
Criminal Warrants
The Criminal Warrants Unit is responsible for the apprehension of persons having active arrest warrants.
