Participate in training
We are excited about your interest in joining us for training! Courses, Classes, Programs, Workshops, and other events hosted by the greater Williamson County emergency services as well as TEMA are posted on the calendar located on our training page. We keep this list as up-to-date as possible but some delay in posting is possible.
To apply to a course please follow the directions given below. If you would like to suggest a course be hosted please utilize the form at the bottom of this page.

To apply for a locally hosted course which appears on the training calendar simply fill out the form below and your information will be forwarded to the appropriate Training Officer or Agency.

Apply For a Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) Course:

To apply for a course hosted by the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency please have the course name and location ready and fill out the TEMA Course Application available in the links on the right of this page. Your application will need to include copies of all pre-requisite course certifications, be signed by your training officer or superior, and then turned in to the Williamson County Emergency Management Agency for processing.

Apply For a Federally Offered Training Course:

To apply for a National Fire Academy (NFA), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP), U.S. Department of Energy's Nevada Test Site - Center for Terrorism Operations Support (CTOS), or Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) course you will need to follow the appropriate links to the left to begin course selection and the application process. If at any time you need assistance in this process please contact us. All applications for this training must include copies of any pre-requisite training and the appropriate signatures before being submitted. We ask that applications for all courses, with the exception of FLETC applications, be submitted to the Williamson County Emergency Management Agency so that we can track your progress and assist as necessary in the application process. From here we will see that your application makes it to the Tennessee State Point of Contact for processing.
