The Office of the County Trustee serves three primary objectives:
- Collect all county and personal property taxes
- Keep a fair regular account of all money received
- Invest temporarily idle funds
The trustee also disburses sales tax revenues and administers Williamson County's Broad Based Tax Relief Program.
The Trustee collects taxes for the City of Thompson's Station, Nolensville and for the Franklin 9th Special School District.
The Williamson County Trustee is elected at large for a four-year term.
