Spay / Neuter Program
Helping Control the Pet Population
surgery.jpg
The Williamson County Animal Control and Adoption Center sponsors a financial need-based spay and neuter program for residents of Williamson County. This program enables residents to have their dogs and cats spayed or neutered at no cost to them if they meet the financial requirements during the application process.

The goal is to reduce unwanted or accidental litters of puppies and kittens in the community, which will lead to less dogs and cats being surrendered to Animal Control. Having your pet spayed or neutered also reduces the chances that your pet will roam and will improve their overall health as they age.

How to Apply for Assistance

Please contact the Animal Control Department at (615) 790-5590 to get information or apply to participate in the program.
