Child Passenger Safety Program Williamson County Health Department LOGO Small 2018
& Child Safety Seat Resource Program - Providing no-cost car seats to families in need

The Williamson County Health Department is pleased to join other county providers as a safety check and installation station for all children's car seats.

DID YOU KNOW? Approximately 72% of car seats are installed or has the child restrained incorrectly. Is your child's safety seat putting them at risk of being a statistic?

Child Passenger Safety checks are conducted at the Fairview clinic every Wednesday during the spring and summer beginning on Wednesday, April 25.

Walk ins are WELCOME, but appointments can be made any time by calling:

CAR SEAT CHECK OR INSTALLATION: Here's what you should know!

It is helpful to have the child present for a safety check or installation if possible. If NOT possible, having the child's age, weight, height(length) and birthday will help the technician assess and install your child safety seat.

Seat checks typically take anywhere from 15-25 minutes for a complete assessment.

Car seats may/may not be installed should the technician find a high risk hazard or danger either from age, wear/tear or recall.
