January 15, 2019, 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM
The next Williamson County Complete County Committee meeting will be held on Tuesday, Jan 15th, 2019 at the Williamson County Administrative Complex. This meeting will occur at 1:30- 3:30 pm in the First Floor Conference Room. Faye Anderson and Chris Conklin of the Census Bureau will be present to assist the CCC in developing outreach strategies for specific groups. Your assistance in this “brainstorming” effort will allow us to effectively reach groups that can help get out the message to count EVERYONE in Williamson County come April 1st, 2020.
As noted at our July meeting, each additional resident we count during the 2020 Census can help bring in additional tax dollars to back Williamson County. According to a recent study from the George Washington Institute of Public Policy, each additional individual we are able to count in Tennessee has an estimated worth $1,981 per annum in Federal funds. In blunt terms, it is simply good business to have a successful census in 2020.
