[ARCHIVED] Williamson County Safety Action Plan Project Info & Survey

Williamson County Facebook Slide 2

Williamson County and its municipal partners are committed to reducing deaths and serious injuries from vehicle crashes for all modes and users of the road.
The county is proud to receive Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Program funding, which is an initiative by the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) to reduce roadway fatalities and serious injuries. The program is part of the larger effort to improve traffic safety for all road users, like motorists, pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit riders. The SS4A program uses a three-pronged approach by combining federal funding, local action, and data-driven solutions to identify and eliminate roadway crashes.
This plan will prioritize roadway and infrastructure projects that address safety challenges for residents and stakeholders and support future funding opportunities, with the end result being a Safety Action Plan (SAP) to guide these efforts. Progress is now well underway and will conclude in early 2026.
The participating jurisdictions include Brentwood, Fairview, Nolensville, Spring Hill, Thompson's Station, and unincorporated Williamson County. (Please note that the City of Franklin is not included in this undertaking, as they are pursuing a separate study.)
One of the most vital elements to this process is community input. Your feedback on the state of transportation safety in the county will fundamentally shape the development of this plan. We are interested in your general concerns as well as specific streets, intersections, or areas where you feel there are transportation safety challenges. To make your voice heard, visit our website to learn more, take the survey, and place pins on the interactive map where you have concerns. Please be on the lookout for popup events to take place in the Spring/Fall of 2025!
