PUBLIC HEARING
The Williamson County Board of Health will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of the Williamson County Administrative Complex, 1320 W. Main Street, Franklin, TN 37064, to accept any additional public comment and take action on the proposed amendments to the Regulations Governing On-Site Sewage Disposal Systems in Williamson County as described below. A public hearing will be held on the following:
Proposed Amendments to the Regulations Governing On-Site Sewage Disposal Systems in Williamson County related to:
- Section 12 ― Effluent treatment and pretreatment devices
- Section 37 ― New section regarding effluent filters
- Section 38 ― New section regarding advanced treatment systems (ATS)
- Section 39 ― New section regarding subsurface drip disposal systems (Drip)
- Section 40 ― New section regarding qualified service providers for ATS and Drip
- Section 3 ― Additional definitions
- Section 5 ― ATS and Drip added to the list of approved system types in the County
- Section 10 ― Inclusion of settling tanks and added notation regarding effluent filters
- Section 11 ― Effluent filters and O&M information for grease traps
- Section 13 ― ATS units added to the setback table
- Section 15 ― Use of slippage soils on steep slopes for conventional systems
- Section 16 ― Pump calculations and dosing controls for Drip systems
- Section 17 ― Settling tanks and other miscellaneous edits
- Section 19 ― Drip system information and other miscellaneous edits
- Section 22 ― O&M for effluent filters, ATS and Drip systems
