PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the Williamson County Election Commission will convene in an electronic meeting on Thursday, March 4, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. by telephone/electronically under Governor Bill Lee’s Executive Order 16 which has been superseded by Executive Order 34 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Additional measures are being taken to comply with the Tennessee Open Meeting requirements to allow for public access. However, physical public access will be limited to protect public health, safety and welfare. Please email Chad Gray, Administrator of Elections, at chad.gray@williamsoncounty-tn.gov for access to the meeting or for more information.

(1) Approve the minutes from the November 19, 2020, & December 3, 2020, Election Commission Meetings
(2) Poll Official Policies and Procedures as presented by Commissioner Duda
II. New Business
(1) Accept the Call for the May 4, 2021, City of Brentwood Municipal Election
(2) Certify the qualified candidates for the upcoming May 4, 2021, City of Brentwood Municipal Election
(3) Set the early voting hours and locations for the upcoming May 4, 2021, City of Brentwood Municipal Election
(4) Approve the Election Commission Budget for 2021-2022 fiscal year
(5) Discuss the idea of holding an “Election Institute” Informational Seminar for the general public on various aspects

NOTICE OF ELECTION
CITY OF BRENTWOOD MUNICIPAL ELECTION
TUESDAY, MAY 4, 2021
Notice is hereby given that a City of Brentwood Municipal Election will be open and held in all the applicable voting locations in Williamson County, Tennessee, on Tuesday, May 4, 2021. The following offices are to be elected:
Three (3) City Commissioners
In order to qualify as candidate for the municipal offices above, qualifying petitions must be filed in the Election Commission office no later than Thursday, February 18, 2021, 12:00 Noon, prevailing time (T.C.A.§ 2-5-101(a)). Municipal candidates must also meet all requirements as required by the municipal charter.
Withdrawal Deadline
On or before February 25, 2021, 12:00 Noon, prevailing time, candidates may withdraw their names from the official ballot: request is to be in writing, signed by the candidate, and submitted to the Election Commission Office. (T.C.A. § 2-5-204 (b) (1))
VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE
The deadline to register to vote is Monday, April 5, 2021. Voter registration forms can be obtained at the Tennessee Department of Safety Driver Testing Centers, the Department of Human Services, the Williamson County Health Department, and libraries within Williamson County. Voter registration may also be completed online at https://ovr.govote.tn.gov/
Voter registration forms postmarked no later than Monday, April 5, 2021, will be processed for this election. Persons already registered in Williamson County may have their permanent voter registration records altered upon receipt of a written notification, over the voters’ signature, on or before Thursday, April 29, 2021.
