Overview
During the various phases of construction, several inspections must be performed by a County Building Inspector.
Inspections of the following aspects of the construction will be performed as each is ready: Download a list of required inspections.
o Footings
o Foundation
o Slab
o Slab Plumbing (if applicable)
o Framing
o Mechanical
o Plumbing
o Insulation
o Final Building - Certificate of Occupancy
o Storm Water
Scheduling
Building and other necessary permits may be completed online using Williamson County's Electronic Plan Review System. https://williamson.idtplans.com/secure Call the Building Codes Department at (615) 790-5718 for additional information.
The person who applied for the permit is responsible for all work passing inspection.
Re-inspections can be scheduled if necessary. There is an additional $50 fee per re-inspection.
